Trash Chute Failure at Buman House Auburn Nebr ?

.
Yes, the Twin Towers Omaha residents wished
  such was the case.

It's April 6th, and always more fun events to mention further down.

     But first, more typing practice, to improve our accuracy ; ; ; ;

.
.

Lo and behold, D. found an informative collection of taped pages in a new bulletin board location.

Images and info about why the trash chute is closed forever.  Almost 50 years of use wore it out, especially the 2009 unknown idiots who dumped bricks and 2 x 4s from an upper floor.
Nearly all day long when he was using the washing machine on said day.  The racket clearly indicated damage was being done.

The-then Bd Prez was very peeved, and promptly instructed everyone the chute would be closed if such abuse didn't stop pronto.
.
.
.
Yesterday when D. got over to the 64-year homestead for the long weekend, someone had jotted this down on a piece of paper, gleaned from their work computer:

Daniel Buman     1717 Q Street    Auburn, Nebr. 68305

Laying in clear sight on the kitchen table, he was obviously curious what was up.
Turned out to be just as we take as a compliment:  Our handy work creates so many images, whenever a person types in  Twin Towers Omaha  on Google search.
That individual was viewing the images page, and wondered what his name had to do with the building !
.
.
This is going on nation-  and world-wide.

Do Nebraska Public Power District  {  N.P.P.D.  }  employees do the same research ?  I'd sure like to be a fly on the wall of that headquarters building in Columbus NE .

Having to growl  ' Grow Up !  You're adults !!! ' on their answering machine at 6:10 a.m. on a January 2014 Saturday morning indicates the severity of all things related to drug-infested crappy little S.E. Nebraska towns, and the Twin Towers Condos building in Omaha.

   Often parked at the

Did it get thrown off a 3rd floor Twin Towers Omaha condo

Did the drug-ferrying  breed-specific bird deliver same to

We express appreciation the new Board members freely indicated in March 18th meeting minutes that only one homeowner attended.

Said person was there to ask why it takes so long to obtain requested documents.  Would that be  a Blackthorne Guy matter ?

Speaking of him, we suspect the Daniel Buman  ****-poor reply letter was mailed in one of those self-sealing envelopes Blackthorne Guy uses in his mailings.
Goes along with our general suspicion BTG was in on the Buman matter, trying to deflect truth so poorly that all of it boomeranged in due time.

Back to the original lone homeowner at the Board Meeting.  It certainly appears  the 4 horrid years of the Ethan Bondelid regime really damaged morale.
There used to be a core group of still-there persons who would attend meetings every time.

      Side bar:  We were going to nickname those young guys  ' The Joy Boys '  , but wisely Googled the term.  It's already utilized for another situation we didn't want to offend.  You can easily learn for yourself what it's about ; ; ; ;
.
.
No, we don't hire persons to produce any of these postings, on an accused  pennies-cheap basis.  Some forum clown posted that about 2 years ago, and we never got around to mentioning same 'til now.
It's even better than that:  100% free.  Seldom do such great bargains blossom in to volcanic eruption-sized roaring clouds !

     April 12th :

     Still need to practice typing data correctly, so once again ; ; ; ; ;

Daniel Buman, 1717 Q St., Auburn, Nebr. 68305

Daniel Buman, 1717 Q St., Auburn, Nebr. 68305

Daniel Buman, 1717 Q St., Auburn, Nebr. 68305

Doubtful any of these valuable relics can be found in the
Daniel Buman,  1717 Q St.,  Auburn, Nebr. 68305  house
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Not these contractors, either.
Instead of being at the
Daniel Buman,   1717 Q St.,   Auburn, Nebr. 68305  house,
they're busy as described below :  . . . . .

.
.
Total gutting and remodeling of their condo bathroom.  It just might get the water leaks stopped, but oh what a racket/ mess/ and likely usual contractor frustration.
Most of 'em dread condo jobs such as Twin Towers, because of many persons nearby who grow very tired of continuous remodel disruptions.

More water leaking.  D. had to call the Buman house this past Tuesday, about 2:20 p.m.  Always a risk the contractors may have departed for the day, not knowing some pipe or fitting has a leak.
     The guys got it stopped.

Meanwhile, D. was reminded that he has been living in an unknown nation since 1973.  The United States 1950s - 1972 ceased to exist, and he won't declare acceptance of whatever has
replaced it !   The example reminder below :

Mrs. Buman was so monotone and totally disinterested, with the amazingly apathetic comment  ' Water leaks all over the building . . . . . . .  '  .

.
.
.
.      Sorry, wrong answer.  Until more recently, water only leaked through bad roof areas, poorly fitting old windows, plugged up HVAC units, and a few homeowners who were careless.

The latter were swiftly billed by The Association, after TTCA made repairs to the damaged condo.  But those less chaotic days are gone.  The general corruption and rising poor morale in this newer, unknown nation have changed matters at 3000 Farnam St.

Now the judicial system has to step in.  First time any damage occurs to D.'s large medications supply, the offender gets to see the inside of that Federal Building at 18th & Douglas.
Same if any contamination to food, utensils, or related.  Crummy stomach  =  I.V. route for the meds, which will  not  play well with the medical staff.

Amazing the mentioned individual, according to Google Search, is high-up in the nursing career field.
Lots of possible reasons for the apathy ?  Small town life not fun  ?     72% of  U.S.A.   {   Unknown states of Amereeeka    }              employees no longer like their jobs ?  Drug usage mess way out of hand in those crappy little S.E. Nebraska towns ?   Burn-out from aggressive resume-building ?

These 1955-era  5U4GA transition tubes existed
for only about a year, while we bore you with details
that a 5AS4 was available, until the stronger 5U4GB
was finalized for Jan 1956 sales.
None of these exist at the

Any Auburn, Nebr. 68305 hobbyists have one of
these from the 1950s?
Two 5U4GB tubes atop the power transformer, just
after they were perfected for 1956 TV production.
To bore you further, the original 5U4G tube could handle
only 250 ma, then 275 for the 5U4GA, and up to
350 milliamps for this version.
Later, the 415 ma 5V3 ended up being universal, as
most hobbyists soon figured out on their own.
D. one of them, of course, in the great summer
of 1970.

Doesn't function well on the kind of N.P.P.D. voltage
found in places like, no, not Auburn.
We believe O.P.P.D. provides service there, perhaps as a
wholesaler to a rickety city system.
We could add a whole lot more here, but will resist
the temptation.  Plenty of image fun already done !

Water shut-offs without notice:  Once again, it was done this past Friday at about 1:30 p.m. ; ; ; ; ; ; ; and nothing in the way of posted notice on bulletin board in the lobby by 5:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Not the first time that's been done, lately.

Please remember:  The new Board of Directors have reputation of not allowing you Ethan Bondelid-era free reign of the place !

Did someone mention high blood pressure?  We didn't, but it's
a good time to mention it can be a hazard of resume-building.
Climbing the upper notches of employment ladder in even
the non-profit N.P.P.D. place can lead to such.
One way to prevent it, or reduce severity of same, would
be to go back to pre-1973 ways of less cutt-throat conduct.
Hey, that reminds us ;;;;;;;;;;;

The U.S. dropped from #14 to #16 in rating of nations,  in the civilized part of the world.

Drug dealing at Auburn High School ? ?
Fortunately, not in this case.  It's Omaha North High's
former Girls Gym, and even way back, was the Boys gym.
D. is just amazed how much all 3 of his schools survived, and
even underwent substantial updating.
Elementary,  Jr. High,  and High School structures.
State of the Art today.  Even A/Cing for maybe 15 days of the
school year.
D. is glad he didn't endure the new middle school standard of
grades 5th - 8th.  He enjoyed K thru 6th at same building.

1952 Cadillac 331 cu. inch V-8 engine.
D.'s family had a 1951 Cadillac, with same engine.
He can assure you it's an interesting situation for
such a large car to still be using 6-volt battery system.
GM wisely, belatedly, adopted 12-volt system in
1953.  Getting one of those engines running could
be quite a challenge:  1.  If you didn't know how
to use the then-new automatic choke system.
2.  Not knowing to depress the accelerator about 1/4th
of the way,  One Time Only { ! } , each time you started
up the engine when still warmed up.
Touchy fuel system.  Fine line between fuel-starved, or
flooded system.
Unaware new owners probably should have had about 16
hours formal schooling on getting the engine running !

Buman in Auburn Nebraska February

.
Daniel Buman,  1717 Q St.,  Auburn Nebraska 68305
.
     For all the details, and copies of letters, we direct you to the February's post contents.   And,   ; ; ; ; ;

This may be best example of why 72 out of 100 Americans no longer like their employment.

     Or, why 77 % have decided they're not happy with how our nation is today !    {   source: Gallup Poll   }

Not a relative of Daniel Buman family in Auburn, Nebraska.
Not residing at 1717 Q Street, Auburn Nebraska 68305.
Not at all pleased with Buman nonsense at Twin Towers Condos Omaha !
A favorite photo amongst Auburn High School students {and Staff ? ? }

.
.
Of course !  We'll add more later on.

More boiler partial failures:  Sat., March 1st, went weak about 1:45 p.m.  Remained that way up to at least 4:40 p.m.

     D. sets a baseboard heater to minimal level, if his jail-baited  condo loses all heat.  Enough to prevent freeze-ups.

At the house born in, relatives again demanded to know why the $#@&* building isn't just torn down, and give the owners their                  $#@&* money !  I love it !

Just doesn't add up:  When heat is needed the most, it goes weak, or clear out.  Just like the stupid ACing in summertime.

Now you see why D. won't vote for any board members.  May be another round of B.B.B. complaints  +  City Inspectors.

     Daniel Buman,  1717 Q St.,  Auburn Nebraska 68305 :

     In about Feb 1981, during a drive down to Texas, some kids messed with the Dairy Queen sign.   '  Treat Your Wife Out  ' was altered a bit, enough that we can't publish it here.  2 letters in one word were removed ; ; ; ; ; ;

     D. thought it would be amusing to photograph it, and then figured the local law enforcement might frown on a County 1 license-plated car there.
Many Nebraskans looked down on Omaha.  Now, many Omahans look down on drug-infested small towns that threw away their lifestyle advantages.

Yes, D. made sure Joe Engels    { ex-2J  }  knew about the Dairy Queen sign.  Joe laughed, and then displayed the usual disappointed expression.

24 Year old actress having Bad, Bad Luck.
First, she barely escaped the confines of
Twin Towers Condos Omaha.
Now, she's trying to escape repulsive Auburn, Nebraska.
Drug dealers kidnapped her  from I-80/ U.S. 77 interchange,
which is popular route for drug pushers heading to crappy
drug-infested towns in Southeast Nebraska !

.
.
     D. is not in the position to criticize U.S. Senate Bills, due to his 43-year Federal status, so we'll gladly take on the task.

The same   {  and Biggest   }   losers who brought you that awful Federal Government shutdown last Fall, almost did it again !

Senate Bill S-1950, was voted down approx. Feb 27th.  At about 350 pages long, it was going to provide severely needed expansion of medical benefits for women veterans at the V.A.  Plus many other corrections for military and V.A. situations.

After enjoying nearly unanimous support all the way through the drafting process, it fell just 2 votes short of passing Feb 27th !
What happened ?  Same   {  ' those bas****s '   }  group of losers blocked passage by the narrowest of margins, and threatened another government shutdown, if they didn't get their way.

Listen.  These medical benefits are needed by persons  today  ,
not a few years from now.

Well, the severe fall-out from the Vietnam War era continues to punish and haunt our declining,  #14th-rated nation.

     * - That censored phrase, above, was one woman veteran's justified critique on the poorest performing Congress seen in many, many decades.

     D. loved her comment.  He utterly dislikes persons in the Federal Government who mess up the majority's goal to improve situations.
It reminds him so much about the utter failure of Twin Towers Condos Omaha, since year 2004.
.
.
He does  not  back off from pitiful messes like Building 4550, Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas 78236.

That's too severe to let slide.  Mrs. Buman, do you care, at all, about the WHMC criminal mess, that developed in first years of 21st Century ?  If not, you're in the wrong career !

More disciplinary action at a later time .   WHMC mess was caught by D. on July 06, 2009.  He got his wish fairly soon:  Demolish the entire campus, and restore the land to as well as if the place was never there.
He seldom finds such awful situations, nor does he make such stern wishes very often.
Nonnie Dotson in Google search always, quickly brings up the huge WHMC mess !

Gosh, 2 copy/pastes here, and the house numerals didn't get transposed !

Specially bred to ferry illegal drugs from major
cities to numerous small S.E. Nebraska towns that have
seen their better days

.

And from one professional to another alleged professional, here's
Ethan's move-out junk in the north lobby.  It was emailed to us,       and is in a Facebook or Twitter account.
    .

The Ethan complained that he does not like moving, and we
presume he meant moving in general.
He doesn't gain any sympathy from us !

.
.
.

Does N.P.P.D. provide as reliable electric service as O.P.P.D here in Omaha ?
If not, maybe a new engineer is needed ?  We're asking, not saying.
.
.
In many families, one relative just cannot be depended on to be consistently reliable.   Often on special medicines, one time they'll do things correctly in your condo.  Another time,      another disaster  !
Best keep 'em out,  unless under direct supervision.  They'll otherwise create one huge headache that tends to never go away.
.
.
     One trait professional types seem to possess is a never-ending urge to build up their resumes more 'n more.  Then one day someone shows up and sticks a straight pin in their balloon ; ; ; ;
Lately, the so-called professionals in our nation seem to be making most of the messes.  They tend to be  huge  messes, to boot.

And they utterly dislike being admonished !  As if they're better than the rest of us.  One result of such is D.'s well-liked   ' Grow Up !!  You're adults !!!  '   verbal growling.
.
.
Quick !!  Get me a nurse !  That kidnapped Nonnie Dotson in the U.S.A.F. Wilford Hall Medical Center mess?  We just learned her 41 year old brother, the last person to see her alive in 2006, is destined to do many years in prison.  That mess just gets worse all the time.

It certainly is  not  June 1971, when D. received fine care for his first incident of pneumonia.  How times have changed.

That brother committed a horrible crime against a friend of his fiance.
Again, simply type Nonnie's name in Google Search.  You'll be up to speed as quickly as D. got, on July 06, 2009.  When he quickly had enough of Texas crap, and finally wrote off the entire state.

A nurse in the Auburn area?  Do they have any interest in this huge news item?  Or just busy building up a resume ?

True or not ? - - Some persons care.  Many do not.

3rd Special Assessment since 2011-12, and a real whopper at about $692,000.  New elevators and roofs.

Average amount for typical 1-bedroom condo is $4,100.

Some homeowner may want to have their attorney investigate if that P.I.T.A building is, in fact,  going to remain standing.

If it somehow was given a second lease on life, then the persons using it as a staging area  {  before their cemetery trek  }  won't be able to depart on the cheap anymore !

D.'s latest encounter with those crappy elevators was a recent unwanted joyride from basement to penthouse level.  Without opening the door, and promptly reversing to finally let him out on 1st floor with grocery cart in hand, he informed his sister about the latest snafu.
.

.
Does the cooling tower have rust holes in the 2 bottom basin pans?  Employees working on the failed ACing last August were heard commenting about those kinds of holes.
Ever since, water was seen on the concrete paving nearby, and in street curb.

Do the new Board members know anything about this?  They don't need a last-minute surprise in April or May.
Are they getting things ready for new chiller installation, so as to avoid hot-weather tardy completion in mid-June ?

Once again, B & W photography can really alter the
atmosphere of a scene.  As image properties show, it
was June 27, 1971.  D. still recovering from that U.S.A.F.
pneumonia related to structure down below.
Here, that's the old Florence depot being prepared for
move to present location.
In Summer 1963, he peeked in the windows when it was still
a functioning freight agent's office.  Time Warp galore.  Most
furnishings and devices were from about 1905.
His maternal grandmother walked on those platforms, when the family
resided at 34th & Seward.  In about 1898, they'd take the street car
downtown, for the 13th & Webster Street depot.  A short train trip north
to around 8400 N. 28 Street.  Then street car right in to Forest Lawn
Cemetery.  In those early years, few city parks for Sunday picnics.

Construction update on U.S.A.F.  Wilford
Hall Medical Center.
New clinic on the left.  Older main facility is empty,
except for large flat-roof clinic in the front.
A tragic waste to have all that leveled in 2017, but
tuff-luck how it's going.
At least some retired career guys insisted the Wilford Hall
name be retained, so that the many criminals can't easily
tip-toe away from the mess they made.
With the name ever-present, many will be reminded about
all that occurred since about year 2000 !
They should be rounded up and forced to reside
in Auburn, Nebraska.  And  they  pay their  own  rent or mortgages.
No drug abuse allowed, since it violates military regulations.
Hey, you can't have everything you want.   And after you see how
the present druggies act,  you refugees won't want to be
associated with those professionals, blue-collar, or  unemployed !

Security Issue in Twin Towers Omaha building.

Seems one or more persons are messing around with an item described in a March 28th letter delivered to each homeowner.

We shouldn't say exactly what, yet can discuss another aspect requiring common sense by at least the long-term owners.

When D. moved in during 1995, he was asked to check that item whenever going by, just like others who were already settled in.
Able-bodied persons can correct it easily, and soon be on their way.  It's your building, and your security.  Help it to work like it's supposed to.

When D. corrects any incidents of that seen on his floor, others remember he's very observant and makes those corrections w/o even blinking an eye.
Especially you,  Blackthorne Guy:   D. will  continue  to correct that item.  No fool-hearted crap alleging he did the opposite.  He operates his life as if a camera is on him 24 hours a day, wherever he's at.  Never has to look behind his shoulder   {  well,  'cept for backstabbers like B----t----- --- , or goons from places like 683XX;   et al !   }  .

     D. would rather avoid having to correct the same security situation in main lobby, but why waste time and leave the building
vulnerable ?
As he explained to some others, the way to correct it down where the camera is right on it is to face the camera, and point to existing violation.  Then, after correcting, demonstrate and prove the violation was just remedied.  Then place a non-crank note in the office explaining time of correction.  Then they can confirm via the DVD recorder.

Bottom line seems to look like one or more are ticked off about the recent whopper of a Special Assessment.

Or perhaps the March 24th closure of trash chute.

Well, yea, the  exact  reason why the chute was abruptly closed
should have been put in the brief notice on the bulletin board.

Was the year 2009 severe damage too costly to repair?  Might have been snagging bags over 'n over.

Is the chute area needed as utility chase for new elevators?

Now, a messy and smelly atmosphere of large trash carts being lugged up 'n down the elevators that are in poor condition, and will really tie things up on days when only one elevator is operating.

One attorney has described Twin Towers Condos as a  bleeder ,
as in will always be in disrepair, regardless of how much money is thrown at it.   ' Sell and leave ' ,   is her recommendation.

S.E. Nebraska and Twin Towers

.
Well, they finally stepped over the line.

Daniel Buman, et al   1717 Q St.  Auburn Nebr.

We post these self-explanatory 3 letters, after another floor leaks incident at 6 a.m. January 31st.  D. growled in his 6:10 a.m. voice mail message,  at their house in that suspect town ,    '  Grow Up !   You're adults !  '  .

It's true.  Why all the kid stuff from down there ?  We'll pose many more questions below the letters, as time permits.

.
.
.

The first notification
.

.
.

His anemic reply.  Pitiful !
.

.
.

Let's Get With the Program !
.

.
Should they ban relatives and friends ?  Allow contractors only with direct supervision ?

Does anyone remember that in some marriages, one spouse will lie to the other ?

Do some persons over age 25 consume illegal drugs ?   Or abuse prescription drugs ?   How 'bout liquor ?

Do persons consult search engines to learn what couples'  professional employment may be ?

Do some employers frown on improper conduct of any of their employees?    Especially ones age 50+,  who try stunts even an 8-year old knows will usually bring forth discipline ? ?

Will there be a   -lot-   more questions placed here by us ?
.
.

Later on:

Are they quite acquainted with owner of the building's management company?   Do they know their letter reads a lot like the rude one D. unjustly received from same B.T.G. in 2010 ?

Does this couple remember the planned ambush of Nebr. State Patrol escort back approx. year 2000?   The S.E. Nebraska druggies were surprised when N.S.P. added approx. 4 more cars to their original 3-car plan !

Can a plumber monitor a condo owner 24 hours a day, so that water containers are utilized properly ?

Do plumbers advise checking every possible leak possibility, including using magnifying glass to find cracks in bottom shower door track/track's caulking ?

Are plumbers expected to explain how to mop floors, and proper use of mop pails ?

Is there abuse of alcoholic beverages in southeast Nebraska,  and classic situation of some drinkers looking red in the face, et al ?

Does S.E. Nebraska enjoy a reputation 100% free of any drug abuse/selling illegal drugs ?

Is that last question needless ?

Does that couple know of the Joe Engle family formerly living in Auburn to about 1961 ?   Can they possibly understand Joe's huge contempt with the Auburn area, and eventual condemnation of his native state of Nebraska ?

Do either of the two look down on military service?   Was either one ever in the Service?    If yes, would that person know about the difference between a 20-year  Lifer   vs.   Career Person ?

Are they happy we corrected our   '1771'   house address error,  and erroneous zip code from Douglas County office {s}  ?

     Will some other professional employees, anywhere in our nation, look down on us for taking on 2 professional ones in a crappy drug-ridden hick town?     {  To heck with them !  }

Will there be more questions added later on ?

                              23rd  Psalm

...... and deliver us from the evil of S.E. Nebraska .

 .
Catholics, Lutherans, and all others
very often favor this Psalm.
Never goes out of style.

.
.

Daniel Buman    1717 Q St.,  Auburn, Nebraska 68305

We have to practice and practice, after getting the house numbers mixed up last summer.

Professional employees just seem to really dislike any criticism, or corrective disciplinary action.  Kinda looks like they may be a spoiled bunch ?
.
.
.

      23rd Psalm

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

     D. likes the King James version best.

We have our doubts about anyone saving, or helping,  S.E. Nebraska .
Just do an economic boycott of that area.  Look, but don't buy anything !

.
.
.
Stealing in the lobby again !  Photo on office door shows a guy hauling items upstairs, at 8:50 p.m. Satur . . . .    or was it Friday, Jan 31st ?   Sorry, we'll need to verify the date again.

Either day, it's a sad state of affairs.  We've read 90% of U.S. crime is drug related.

This time ; ; ; ; ; ;   it looks like guy was carrying a fax or printer device.  Did someone leave the condo office unlocked ?

How about the former AFL-CIO conference room door being left open for more than a year?
It is quite dangerous to permit such hiding places, allowing a crook to quickly leap out.
Did this latest theft occur by way of the guy forcing his way through a wall in that room, and then perhaps leap frogging on in to other nearby offices ?
.
.
First, they'll get rid of the Clarinda Condos nearby.  Then some year Twin Towers Condos Omaha will be demolished.
     Never too soon !

     Do you have a phone call ?     {   No, he doesn't, at least for now !   }

Do we repeatedly practice typing house address numbers correctly, so that we don't carelessly transpose anymore ?

Do readers understand 3 letters at the top pertain to something regarding Auburn, Nebraska  and  Twin Towers Condos Omaha ?

HOW    many persons' blogs now post those 3 letters at the top ? ?

Do most persons concur that memorizing and reciting the 23rd Psalm at least once a day brings forth inner peace, in this wildly changing nation of the U.S.A. ?
.

How many TTCA homeowners are aware that there may have been a garage/parking lot concrete beam failure fairly recently?

It's in the N.W. sector, inner row of parking.  2 jack posts under the beam, and a set of very thick metal plates bolted to each side of the failed portion.   Etc.

     D. found this last Monday evening, when checking why the garage door was half way down ; ; ; ; ;

Kind of a mickey-mouse, naive-kind Ethan job, and he must have been thinking it was the year 1953 in once-decent Lincoln, NE.
Some segments of the power opener should be on the inner side of the garage door, unless some unusual fire or building code prevents that.

The young resident trying to get their car in to the garage had to give up, and hopefully made the night time phone call.

Drives persons to drinking or other drug abuse ??
.

Some have described S.E.Nebraska as basically a barren moonscape in appearance.
It is also too close to that haunted northwest Missouri.   The infamous town of Skidmore, MO sets right in the middle of it.
Home of that town bully who ; ; ; ; well, ask the WOWT Ch 6 folks about their nervy, risky trek down there in the company news van.
That was sometime in late 1980s or early 1990s.
.
.
Now, who is ; ; ; ;   oh, we'll skip the other person's employment position, for now.  On to other topics.

Funeral Privacy:  More of D.'s peers seem to have the same idea.  Obits indicate they opt for private services, which is the most sensible way to go now.
Keeps strangers from wandering in off the street,  et al.

     D. wrote up his basic funeral instructions back in 2002:  No visitation, No services.

Only a small obit in the newspaper.  He doesn't want his relatives burdened with all that extra work.  His only desire is to get 6-feet below the face of the Earth, forever away from those horrid Texas summers which followed him home in 1974 !

Brrrrrr, It Is Cold

.
   Outside, or Indoors ?

Boring repeat of heating system short falls.  So often we won't even consult the calendar for exact dates   {  except for B.B.B. letters !   } .

It's become clear someone either doesn't like repeated trips to restart one or more boilers that cycle through one session of getting heat water up to 160-170 degree, and then won't start up again.
Or,  . . . .   Oh, we just said it above.

Is it time to notify a City of Omaha boiler inspector, explaining suspected water leaking in to a boiler's combustion chamber ?

Red tagging could occur.  Or worse.  Renting a temporary outdoor stationary boiler system is very, very expensive.
.
.
.

What's that?  The Bd President is  still  living in Atlanta, GA ?
Since 2012?
That may be why so many others are asking to be elected to the Board.

Yes, the Master Deed has some defects in it, but we'll not advertise some of same here.

.
.
.
Dumb:   Or stupid.  A co-op building is looking in to becoming a condo association !  Co-op apartments have to be paid for up front, w/o a mortgage.
That's actually a Plus.  The resident obtains the money some other way.  Co-ops share  everything  together.
Upkeep of heating items in the apartment, and items in common areas, is done by all residents together.  With only the monthly assessment, and occasional special assessments.
At T.T.C.A., things have become chaotic since 2010.
.
.
     Sidebar:

Selling off   M.U.D.   for a one-time windfall?   When State Senators start spending time in Lincoln, Nebraska ;;;;;;;;;  that air, food, or something else starts affecting their brain functions.
You like much higher gas and water bills ?  Lincoln residents can help you 50% of the way:  They have a non-profit water entity, but the natural gas company is one of those for-profit menaces.
.
.
.
Monthly assessments going up 49% Feb 1st?
Washer/dryer budget item shows up now, at $75,000 per year?

When budget gimmicking goes on for several years, this is what can happen.

That Washer item breaks down to $195 monthly, per machine.
Sounds like reasonable estimating, when factoring in utilities and upkeep of the laundry rooms.  Sorry, guys.  Or not ???

Already, someone has posted 2 pages of furniture items For Sale.  Panic?  Can't believe they have to cough up 49% more?
Yes, do watch closely, to make sure these numerous new dollars are spent wisely.

The new Bd Prez is a C.P.A.  He surely is careful about his accounting license.

  Jan 11th :

Assessment increase of 49% quickly reduced to only 14.7 % !

Indeed, plenty of homeowners soon complained loudly.  D.'s main objection was all the needless time and paper wasted.  Also re-writing Feb's cheque to new amount      {  persons with heart disorders soon learn to prepare many items ahead of time   } .

Our post last week likely had some confused, or wondering.  Reverse psychology stills works !

Kyle Kurtenbach, newer Board Prez, needs to take it easy.  That line item of $75,000 for washers/dryers was deleted, as needed to be done.

Travel pay of more than $5,000 per year?  Down to $3,200 + .  It best be for the maintenance guy's treks only.  If Kyle expects free travel to/from Omaha and Atlanta GA, he may be treading in to C.P.A. suspended or revoked license.

His resume suggests being a Lincoln person.  If so:  We hope one of the challengers more than unseats him from Bd Prez status ;;;; like, clear off the Board.  He causes me to wonder these questions :

     1.  Is he an Ethan buddy  ?
     2.  Is he also trying to protect that B.T.G.  { Blackthorne Guy  } ?

.
.
We like the 6th floor, south-end retired homeowner's letter to all persons, under their doors Jan 9th.  Running for the Board, he sure mentioned many important topics.  Main item is the abusive nature of one or more non-I.D.'ed Board members/others in last couple of years.
.
.
Did B.T.G. enjoy the City of Omaha boiler inspector phone call  +  likely visit to the basement ?  When D. called their office 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, he also learned why those guys are fascinated w/what they learn about the TTCA boiler room fiasco.  They don't usually come in to buildings, unless a complaint is filed.

TTCA's annual inspections are done by their insurance company, which hires private inspectors.

The heat was soon back up to proper 160-180 degree water supply temperature.   But today, it stumbled for a bit at times.  We suspect a board member and  B.T.G.  are just determined to circumvent, for whatever futile reason {s} .

Water needs to be a minimum of 160 degrees 24 hours a day, from Oct 15 - March 31st, unless a rare warm spell shows up in March.  Outdoor temp in 35 - 55 degree range does not mean playing with the controls, guys.  Keep your fingers away from the switch D. describes below:

On-Off-Auto ?  Forget  ' Auto '  !  The switch remains in ' On '  position only ,  24 hours daily.   Never  move to Auto position.  That never did function properly,  and needs to be repaired to attain and hold at 155 degrees minimum.    That's right, only 5-degrees fudge factor on milder days in early-April cold snaps.

You guys need to figure out best way to keep    Reset   duty at reliable, and 24-hours-daily required extent.  D. is retired from Reset  duty.  As of approx. year 2004.
Is a Wireless Reset controls device avalable?  In 1997, the Board had option of full computer on gaurds' desk, and at John K.'s house.
That would have allow full monitoring and adjustments to heating and cooling systems, via telephone landlines.

Honeywell Co. had an even better use/lease HVAC system, but N. Tower owner H. Cutler refused to pitch in his 26% share.  That great, best method got nixed during 1995 discussions.  Was last opportunity for a fantastic system.
     D. talked w/the Honeywell Rep in Omaha, and the Rep expressed huge disappointment on the best solution.
350 tons cooling for both buildings, and 12,000,000 BTUs heating system.

Amazing, version #4 now.   Quite a bump upwards, in viewings during last 18 hours.  Those HTML-atch emails forwarded all over the nation were sure a lot of fun.
.
.

D.'s father who almost accepted employment with the Novaks in about year 1961?  And soon got cold feet about it?  He could have very well been job-shifted from Auto Parts to assisting with Sears/Twin Towers conversion !  It would have been the most shameful part of his father's life, in view of what he sees going on now.

Good Riddance.  Again !

Good news travels at nearly the speed of light.
.

Bad news?  Sorry, we overloaded last week's post with topics related to these good guys:
.
.
.

Do you have anything to hide, readers ?  We don't .

      Those persons appear to be very good at their work, judging by how our 1st back-up email   {  wih html attachment of this post    }
got lost in the system,  just as we tried clicking it on.  While someone was busy studying it, we quickly sent another one, and then forwarded copies to many other locations.

That awful Auburn NE is likely being under the magnifying glass, along with the numerous other items in that post.  Version 1 was posted long enough to do what it was meant to !

.

It looks like all 5 new Board Members are over age 40 !  So much for those young guys seemingly wanting to rid the building of handicapped and age 40+   homeowners.

.

Kyle,  just what did you think you were getting away with?

     1.  Does the Master Deed specify the Annual Meeting begin at 7 or 7:30 p.m. ?  Not your preferred catch-the-next-flight 6:30 p.m. timing ?

     2.  Did anyone ask about the Google Search items concerning Lincoln Journal-Star 2008 and 2011 articles on you?
Cutting your roomate with a swiss knife and then pushing him over a ledge ?

About spending 3 years fighting the prosecution, while serving some of that time on the TTCA Board?

It looks like the final ruling was a set-aside, after initially paying a $350 fine.  Getting off mighty light, guy, for what was originally an attempted felony prosecution.
At least the set-aside, and original proceedings, will be part of any background check results.

We're not supposed to cy/paste copyrighted material, and believe URL links are disallowed, so readers can simply type Kyle's name plus  Lincoln NE  in the Google searchbox.

The 2008 article loading up causes Microsoft's Internet Explorer to warn the page contains unsafe item {s} like malware, so we took the browser off-line to capture text !   Amazing, guys.  Trying to hide a news article by having a techie tamper with it?  Stupid .

      NATIONAL  SECURITY  AGENCY  can assist with checking out that situation , unless they're too busy.   Well, yea ;;;;;;;;;

.
.

     D. saw a Gallup Poll item on Tuesday Ch. 7 TV :  Seems 77% of Americans are not happy with the general direction of matters in the United States.

All these huge-in-the-negative items,  including 72% of Americans don't like their jobs,  indicates to us that D. and others remain upbeat via hobbies, general curiosity,  et al .
.
.

If you drive to the Kansas City area via Nebraska side, please do Omahans a favor:  Don't spend one penny in any of those towns in awful S.E. Nebraska.  Have your fuel tank full, and otherwise do your best to boycott that area.
Or drive the interesting non-I 29  two-lane highways down to St. Joe.
.

Is it almost time to post image copies of those 3 letters on matters in S.E. Nebraska?
